Talulah Takes Fun and Feminine Style to the Runway
If anyone was going to breathe life into Summer, it was always going to be Talulah. Feminine, fun and spirited, Kelli Wharton's womenswear line-up for Spring Summer 2014/15 is everything a girl could want for a fun Spring wardrobe.
Graphic black and white prints punctuated the ultimate Summer silhouettes — think flirty short-shorts, swinging kimono-style dresses and feminine, flippy sundresses. Fringing was a strong element in the collection, appearing as tassels around the waist and neck and on the hems of dresses and shorts.
But it wasn't until the swimwear quota of the collection kicked off that the front row really started craning their necks for a better look. It's here that Talulah's fun and girly vibe really sings. We saw graphic black and white prints walk alongside digital florals in ocreanic shades of blue and green. The cuts were cute — think backless one-pieces and string bikinis perfect for a day out in the sun.
On the accessories front, chunky Aztec-print wedges amplified each look, with chunky stacks of gold and blue bangles, oversize hoops and round sunglasses upping the fun factor. Keep scrolling to see the runway highlights right here.
