News Now: Lady Gaga Tops Fashion Buzzword?

I'll admit it, I use the words "statement' and "on-trend" more than I should on a day-to-day basis, and I have a tendency to proclaim things are "ridic" and "incroyable" when really, they're probably just OK. Surprisingly, these words didn't make it on the American Global Language Monitor's (GLM) Top Fashion Buzzword list, but Lady Gaga sure did, coming up as numero uno.

The GLM tracks words and phrases used on the internet, blogs and social media in relation to their frequency, contextual usage and appearance in global media outlets.
