Trend Report From 2011 Fall New York Fashion Week: Thigh High Splits

2011 Fall New York Fashion Week Trends: Thigh High Splits

So hemlines are plummeting...but that doesn't necessarily mean we'll be covering up for the Winter. Thigh high splits have been putting pins on display all over New York Fashion Week's A/W runways. Pre-Fashion Week, we'd noticed this emerging trend on the red carpet with frocks split up to there popping up everywhere from the Brit Awards, to the Grammys, to the SAGs. Embracing this leg flashing trend on their catwalks were designers Diane von Furstenberg, Jason Wu, Michael Kors and Cynthia Rowley, and we can imagine this simple but attention getting style making its way to a Westfield near you. So, are you on board with this sexy split style?
