What to Wear for a Warm Winter

Winter Who? Here's What to Wear While It's Weirdly Warm

Culottes, approx $82, Topshop; Crop, $470, Ellery at Avenue32; Mules, approx $118.45, Topshop; Bag, $1,985, Amor Fati at Green With Envy; Ring, $35, Wanderlust & Co

Apparently all of our meticulous planning for Winter is going to waste. Because while we've shivered through the occasional brisk morning, May has been all about the sunshine so far. Both Sydney and Melbourne have experienced the warmest May streak on record, and while that's absolutely lovely, we're left thinking; well, now what do we wear?

Right now our sartorial sisters in the United States are on the downward slide into Summer, giving some of our favourite trends from Spring 2014 Fashion Weeks a whirl. So, while we usually wouldn't be able to exercise these international trends until it warms up locally in September, we're taking the unusually warm May as an excuse to give the trends a try earlier.  And at the top of that list is culottes, the mule and crop tops.
