Which Aussie Fashion Labels Should Julia Gillard Wear as PM?

Which Aussie Designers Should Julia Choose Now She's PM?

Right, so now Julia's officially been crowned PM, I thought it was high time we all threw a little styling advice her way. Yes, she's got the pant suit and pearls look sorted, but what about something a little more...Michelle Obama? The First Lady of the US of A always looks perfectly polished in a range of American designers (J.Crew, Thakoon), I thought it was only fitting for Julia to embrace Australian talent with equal admiration. Straight up, Carla Zampatti should be her new BFF. Her soft tailoring, drapey dresses and dramatic gowns are totally PM worthy, suited to office and evening functions. Next up, George Gross. His structured dresses and modern prints would inject a bit of va va voom to an otherwise stilted wardrobe, if you know what I'm saying...And moving forward (oh, stop!), Scanlan and Theodore. Yes, it's a little edgy and is often favoured by cool twentysomethings, but the beauty of this stellar Aussie label is that each piece can be worn by a variety of different women, and more notably, of different ages. Jules should hit Scanlan up for a slouchy blazer and textured pencil skirt, stat. Which Aussie labels do you think Julia should try now she's back to being numero uno?
