2010 Most Missed Small Screen Style: The City

We were grief stricken when we heard our weekly does of NYC style had been canned, but MTV's The City will live on in our 2010 Sugar Award Hall of Fame (and our hearts) forever. We're awarding our favourite fashion reality show the 2010 Most Missed Small Screen Style award — no buts about it! There was nothing like the on-trend, fashion forward get ups of these gorgeous girls to inspire wardrobe envy, and the weekly style-offs between icy up town girl Olivia Palermo and Cali-cool stylista Whitney Port are going to be hard to replace. Adding to the fashionista mix was Roxy Olin, Sami Swetra, Erin Kaplan, Joe Zee and (if we were lucky) our fave Louise Roe, who all strutted the Elle corridors in editrix-appropriate style.

We might still be in mourning, but the stars of the show are clearly moving on. Whit has her fashion line Whitney Eve to occupy her time with, and we've heard about Liv's TV dreams. Our only hope is that these stylish City girls stay in the spotlight with their respective fashionable pursuits, otherwise we'll be on sartorial struggle street! In honour of the glam that was, give it up for The City; recipient of our 2010 Most Missed Small Screen Style award.
