Ana de Armas Is Prepared for Sequin Season In a Sparkling Three-Piece Suit

It might only just be autumn, but we are already pinning our Pinterest boards with party season outfit inspo, and it seems Ana de Armas is one step ahead of us. The “Blonde” actor was dressed in top-to-toe sequins for an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on 19 Sept. and her outfit is immediately on our wishlist.

The actor appeared on the show to promote her upcoming film “Blonde”, the first Netflix show to receive an 18 rating with de Armas playing a fictional version of Marilyn Monroe. She arrived at the talk show wearing an eye-catching navy-grey sequin three-piece suit by Brunello Cucinelli. Styled by Samantha McMillen, the entire ensemble offered a welcome glow-up of the tailoring trend, making it the perfect desk-to-dancefloor look.

The double-breasted blazer was left unbuttoned for a more relaxed feel, skimming over the more streamlined waistcoat underneath and ending at her hips to allow the wide-leg trousers to fall effortlessly to the floor. She teamed the suit with simple black pointed court shoes and Anita Ko diamond jewellery. Scooping her hair in a voluminous high ponytail, de Armas wore her signature black eyeliner flick and added a pop of bright pink lipstick to lift the look.

Louis Vuitton is more often the designer of choice for de Armas, having seen her wear a stunning pink gown at the Venice Film Festival and another navy three-piece suit at the Berlin screening of “A Gray Man” this summer.
