The second Afterpay Day sale of the 2022 is kicking off Thursday, August 18 and running until Sunday, August 21. You already know what that means, but in case there’s any doubt, we’ll remind you that it’s time to dust off your debit card and treat yourself to a wardrobe refresh.

What Is Afterpay Day?
Afterpay Day is one of the biggest online shopping events in Australia, and generally rolls around twice a year. The upcoming Afterpay day will run from Thursday, August 18 and until Sunday, August 21, while the last one ran back in March.
Typically, you can shop with up to 70% off online and and in-store items that fit into every category, from fashion and homewares, to tech and beauty.
When Is Afterpay Day 2022?
Afterpay Day 2022 starts on Thursday, August 18 2022, and runs until August 21 2022. This means that us shopaholics have four full days to shop up a storm.
Hoe Does Afterpay Work?
Afterpay is basically virtual lay-by, except you don’t have to wait until you’ve paid in full to receive your items.
The “buy now, pay later” app works by allowing shopping to pay on instalment upfront on the day of purchase, and then the same amount fortnightly over six weeks; until it’s full paid off. This means that shoppers have four payments in total, and can be a much less intimidating way to shop for the more expensive items.
