Blake Lively Stole the Spotlight at Ryan Reynolds’ Premiere in a Rainbow Gown

Blake Lively singlehandedly ushered in the spring season in a pastel rainbow dress at the New York City premiere of Ryan Reynolds‘ new Netflix film, “The Adam Project.” Although it was technically Reynolds’ big night, Lively outshined her husband in the colourful number, which was pulled from Atelier Versace‘s spring 2019 couture collection. Featuring a plunging neckline and high leg slit, the dress combines stripes of light purple, blue, pink, and green material interwoven with shiny beaded panels that are only visible up close. Meanwhile, Reynolds kept it classic in a grey pinstripe suit and tie, allowing his wife to steal the spotlight.

While her dress is eye-catching on its own, Lively didn’t skimp on accessories. She brought back the stacked bracelets trend of the 2010s by wearing several Lorraine Schwartz bangles of varying styles on one wrist. Seeing as the jewellery designer is one of her favourites, she also wore two different pairs of Lorraine Schwarz earrings: a set of dangly pear-shaped diamonds and a set of lavender discs outlined in tiny diamonds. The actor finished her ethereal look with a pink Chanel purse and light blue Gucci heels, and she layered a long denim jacket over her gown after leaving the premiere to combat the NYC chill.
