Laura Dern Delivered Pique Moira Rose Extravagance in Her Ostrich Feather Oscars Gown

After sweeping up all awards season, Schitt’s Creek – despite its brilliant wardrobe team and ridiculously talented cast – wasn’t eligible for an Oscar on Sunday. But Big Little Lies star Laura Dern managed to channel enough Moira Rose energy for the entire red carpet. Dern’s two-piece Oscar de la Renta gown featured a black turtleneck paired with a poofy white ostrich feather skirt that looked straight out of Moira Rose’s wardrobe. Dern accessorized the look with Pomellato jewelry and a pair of black Jimmy Choos that featured a crystal accent strap.

Some fans on Twitter compared the lavish dress to a feather duster, which is fair since the opulent look did sweep us off our feet. But we know Moira would have embraced the comments and strutted across the stage with her head held high and a glass of Herb Ertlinger wine in hand.
