“Love Island”'s Indiyah Polack Is a Carnival Queen in a Crochet String Bikini

She was the standout star of “Love Island” 2022 – just ask Lizzo – and now Indiyah Polack has proved she’s a carnival queen after attending Notting Hill Carnival on 28 Aug. The 23-year-old posted a carousel of photos on Instagram wearing a crochet triangle bikini top and matching crochet hipster shorts in the colours of the Jamaican flag, captioning the post with “Carnival day 1 done 💛💚🖤”.

Looking every inch the superstar, Polack posed in front of crowds who flooded the streets of the capital and her outfit choice embodied that carnival spirit. The bespoke crochet two piece, handmade by independent brand Crolage, was expertly modelled by the Islander. Paying tribute to her Caribbean roots, Polack paired the striped yellow, green, and black string bikini top and hipster briefs with chunky gold hoop earrings and white Nike Air Force 1s, no doubt to ensure she could dance in comfort.

Polack added her signature black eyeliner and swept her hair back into an extra long ponytail that fell down to her knees for added drama as she took selfies with fans. While her boyfriend, fellow Islander Dami Hope, was absent from her Instagram posts, it seems Polack was enjoying a day out with her girlfriends.

And the fun didn’t end with the carnival, either. Her Instagram stories shows her change into a tight blue minidress with a single sleeve and ring fastening at the opposite shoulder. Styled by Jameela Joie, Polack danced into the night at Megan Thee Stallion’s Hottie Party in London. After performing at Reading and Leeds festival, Megan invited select celebrities and fans to join her for an evening of partying. Singer Bree Runway and DJ Henrie were also at the star-studded event.

Polack then returned to the carnival for another day of good vibes on 29 Aug. For the next outfit, she tied an oversize tee to make it a crop top teamed with tiny denim hotpants left undone.
