Megan Fox’s Plunging Dress Features a Sheer Bodice With Just a Strip of Fabric

No one does a sultry red carpet moment better than Megan Fox. Celebrating the release of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue on May 18, the actor joined fellow cover stars Martha Stewart, Kim Petras, and Brooks Nader for a star-studded evening. Low-cut silhouettes, see-through styles, and corset bodices have become Fox’s signature over the past few years, and her look for the cover launch combined all of the above.

Showing off her newly-dyed red hair, Fox turned heads at the event in a gown from LaQuan Smith’s fall/winter 2023 collection, consisting of a completely sheer bodice with just a strip of satin fabric lining the plunging neckline. The top offered a closer glimpse at her giant back tattoo featuring a quote by philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche that reads, “And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” Collaborating with her stylist Maeve Reilly, she completed the striking look with an intricate diamond ring from Le Vian and pink chrome nails.

A few days prior, Fox graced one of the covers of the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue in a barely-there beaded Celia Kritharioti dress over a gold Skims swimsuit. For the same issue, Stewart made headlines as the oldest person to cover the magazine, wearing a series of plunging one-pieces from brands including Monday Swimwear, Norma Kamali, and Isa Boulder.
