The Shows Will Go On: Here's What You Can Expect From New York Fashion Week

In the midst of Omicron, the CFDA and IMG released the official New York Fashion Week calendar for fall 2022, answering the question on everyone’s mind: is Fashion Week even happening? If you’ve also been wondering whether this season’s show would proceed as usual (though, what does “as usual” even mean at this point?), the first glimpse of the fall 2022 schedule, which will run from Feb. 11 to Feb. 16, shows many of the industry’s heavyweights, like Tory Burch, Brandon Maxwell, and Michael Kors, are returning with in-person runways, while others, like Area and Veronica Beard, are doing a hybrid of appointments and digital presentations. The CFDA’s announcement also included a health and safety note with strict guidelines for attendees to mask up and present vaccination cards for each venue.
