Nicky and Paris Hilton’s Sister Style Is Perfectly Complementary and Seriously Enviable

Style, it turns out, runs in the family. Truth be told, Nicky and Paris Hilton exist on opposing ends of the sibling style spectrum, both with very distinct fashion identities and aesthetics. On the one hand, Nicky – a fashion designer – leans timeless and sophisticated, drawing to mind the quiet luxury look currently taking the trend cycle by storm. Paris, by contrast, always brings the drama, modernizing her sparkling Y2K style with exaggerated silhouettes, sheer fabrics, and stand-out accessories.

Despite their stylistic differences, the Hilton sisters’ joint appearances at Paris Fashion Week prove that it’s possible to coordinate without sacrificing personal preference. Take their matching polka dot outfits at Zimmermann’s Oct. 2 show. Although both sisters posed in black-and-white dots, Nicky’s off-the-shoulder balloon-sleeve dress and sensible black slingback heels read totally classic. Conversely, Paris brought her signature glamour while still sticking to the theme, rocking crystallized pointed-toe heels, along with a dress with sheer polka dot tulle.

The sisters kept the sibling energy going strong for the rest of the week, giving an accidental crash course in collaborative dressing. At the Stella McCartney show, the assignment was less obvious, with Paris wearing a romantic white maxi dress with sheer lace panels, and Nicky matching her energy in a silky turquoise dress with a similarly delicate lace hem.

The Hiltons took it to the next level at the Valentino show on Oct. 1, dressing up in their best Barbiecore. This time, Paris went a more literal route, dressed in a hot pink tweed minidress with bright fuschia accessories, while Nicky looked mod in a red shift dress with a rosette detail and studded heels. “Valentino Barbie vibes,” Nicky commented on an Instagram video, walking to the show with her sister in their similar-but-different couture.

Nicky and Paris’s complementary wardrobes are a welcome reminder that siblings don’t have to dress identically to look great together. While PFW provided particularly great examples of their subtle variations, the two have joined fashion forces on multiple occasions, as seen at the Versace show in March, and an appearance at Gucci the same month. Read on to see more of how the Hiltons nailed coordinating looks at Paris Fashion Week and beyond.
