It’s official: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are divorced.

The reality star and rapper finalised their split on Monday and agreed on custody and property issues less than two years after their separation.

According to People, both Kim and Kanye will be given “equal access” to their four children, North, 9, Saint, who turns 7 next month, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3; however, an insider told TMZ that Kim would have the kids majority of the time.

Kanye, who legally changed his name to Ye, will pay Kim $200,000 a month in child support starting Thursday, per the court filing.

The figure is the largest amount ever to be paid in child support, beating out Alex Rodriguez, who forks out $115,000 a month to his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.

The artist is also responsible for half of his children’s healthcare costs and half of their security and education expenses, including tuition.

The two have also agreed to take part in meditation if a dispute occurs, and if one of them refuses, the other will be given the right to make a decision.

Some topics that they must discuss with one another include their children’s education, therapy or counselling and their participation in religious activities.

It’s also been decided that the children cannot move more than 100km from Kim’s home in the Hidden Hills before they finish high school or turn 19 without the other parent’s consent.

Kim and Kanye tied the knot in May 2014 and parted ways on December 26, 2020.

Kim filed for divorce in February 2021, after Kanye made a number of controversial statements about abortion and Kim’s family.

In court documents, Kardashian said at the time, “I very much desire to be divorced. I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so. Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress. I believe that the court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children.”

She added, “While I wish our marriage would have succeeded, I have come to the realisation that there is no way to repair our marriage. Kanye does not agree, but at least it appears that he has come to the realisation that I want to end our marriage, even if he does not. I ask that the Court restore me to the status of a single person so that I can begin the healing process and so that our family can begin the healing process and move forward in this new chapter in our lives.”
