Maya Jama’s Plunging See-Through Dress Is Giving Modern Bride

The Cannes Film Festival is still going strong, as are all the looks to come out of the red carpet. Amid the must-see moments were Dua Lipa going red carpet official with Romain Gavras, as well as Irina Shayk serving her risquè outfit in Cannes in the form of a micro leather bralette and matching ultra low-rise skirt.

And following in the same fashionable wave is Maya Jama, who served some serious modern bride vibes in a plunging white dress at the Vogue x Chopard party on 22 May. Styled by Rhea Francois, the “Love Island” host was glowing in an Aadnevik French lace gown, which featured hand-crafted flowers and leather detailing – and took the corseting trend to new heights.

The rest of her look was on point, too, as she stepped out in silver heeled sandals by Jimmy Choo, and accessorised with matching silver rings by Courbet. She completed her bridal-esque look with a glowing makeup palette and winged eyeliner by makeup artist Letitia Sophia, whilst her hair was styled by Ross Kwan in a very 90s-inspired updo – as previously modelled by former Love Islander Molly-Mae Hague – using BaByliss tools, and products from the likes of Bumble and bumble UK, BumblePRO, and KeraCare UK.

Away from the film festival, Jama has already been praised for her perfect looks by the pool, which saw her modelling a Gucci string bikini during her trip to Dubai, as well as joining the Barbiecore trend in a tiny pink bikini that would not look out of place in the “Barbie” movie. She’s even raised the style stakes whilst filming for “Love Island”, and has even been featured as the new face of Rimmel London. Whilst we wait for the new season of the dating show to roll around, we know we’ll be treated to plenty more fashionable moments from the presenter.
