Lady Gaga is ready to make it rain at the 2020 MTV VMAs. The singer, who is performing her hit single “Rain on Me” with Ariana Grande for the first time ever, pulled out all the stops for the virtual award show’s red carpet. Gaga wore a dramatic metallic dress paired with superhigh platformed lace-up boots and a headpiece that’s perfect for someone nominated for nine awards. The singer is nominated for video of the year, artist of the year, song of the year, best collaboration, best pop, best quarantine performance, best cinematography, best visual effects, and best choreography.

After stunning on the red carpet, Gaga rocked an array of designer outfits, all accessorized with equally as over-the-top masks. She is no stranger to going all out for the award show – I mean, I still think about her meat-covered ensemble at the 2010 VMAs regularly – and each one of her outfits during Sunday night’s show are looks to remember. “I was wearing face shields before it was a thing 👆🤣 #VMAs,” she wrote on Instagram.
