Last year, Gary Bigeni revealed a vision of pastel perfection that we found hard to ignore. Artful draping mixed with clean lines in leather stole our hearts, and his clever way with colour carried on to his lust-inducing A/W collection. Given his history, we're tipping his 2011 RAFW show to be one of the week's must-sees. Gary kindly provided us with some cryptic pictures from his mood board, as well hot tips on what to expect at Wednesday night's reveal. On the cards are unexpected colour combinations c/o a refreshing palette of seafoam blue, burnt orange and cherry. Draping will again be in Gary's repertoire of tricks, but this time the he'll expose more skin using double silk georgette, silk twill, washed silk as well as prints for the first time. Tailoring will again be on the menu too, but in deconstructed, and more relaxed silhouettes. Sounds like everything we like from Mr Begini, but ramped up. Catch the full show report on Wednesday, but in the meantime you can scope his show's cinematic reference points below.
