Spike Lee Rocked His Finest Purple and Gold to Honor Kobe Bryant at the Oscars

Spike Lee might be one of the world’s most famous New York Knicks fans, but at the Oscars, he repped purple and gold. On Sunday night, the director honored the late Kobe Bryant with a stunning custom suit with “24” emblazoned on both the front and back. His purple suit had yellow stripes going down the legs and jacket as a tribute to the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, who tragically died two weeks ago. Spike matched his glasses to his suit, and he even wore Nikes from Kobe’s range. Spike’s wife, Tonya, rocked a gorgeous long-sleeved cream gown that complemented the Lakers colors. Ahead, see photos of the beautiful suit honoring Kobe Bryant at the Oscars.
