The Invite Said Business Casual, and Taylor Swift Showed Up Looking Professionally Chic

Taylor Swift showed up to the NME Awards in London on Wednesday looking like the CEO of a fashion conglomerate, and we’re taking all the style notes. The “Lover” singer rocked the short, pinstripe, black-and-white suit as she accepted the award for best solo act in the world, and I’m personally tempted to also hand her an award for best business-casual look of 2020 so far.

The outfit, from Monse’s Resort 2020 collection, featured a collared button-up-shirt-and-blazer mashup jacket and shorts instead of the traditional suit pants, making this look more like a work of art than a suit. Taylor paired the look with a white-and-silver bedazzled Jimmy Choo Madeline Shoulder Bag ($1,850) with a snake buckle and a cute pair of Gianvito Rossi Lace-Up Leather Ankle Boots ($1,345). Keep scrolling to take a closer look at Taylor’s playfully classy look from all angles ahead.
