Twitter Absolutely Roasted the Logo For the 2024 Olympics in Paris, and You Know What? Fair
Yes, it may only be 2019, but the logo for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris has already been revealed, and people have, um . . . opinions about it. The logo combines three symbols: the Olympic flame, a gold medal, and Marianne, the woman who has stood as the personification of liberty and the French Republic since the French Revolution of 1789 — or that's what the organisers were going for, anyway. Twitter interpreted things a bit differently, as critics compared the design to the Tinder logo, a sultry Parisian woman, Rachel Green from Friends, and more.
