Ashley Graham is no stranger to promoting body positivity, but she's also gotten her fair share of shaming. The model and body activist shared in a recent Instagram post that her thighs were once called "cellulite city," but despite the remark, she had an empowering message to share with her followers: "Someone once told me my thighs were 'cellulite city'. But I now realise these thighs tell a story of victory and courage. I will not let others dictate what they think my body should look like for their own comfort, and neither should you."
And we couldn't agree more! Her message further fuels the idea that there is no right or wrong way to be beautiful or strong. The opinions of others should not determine how we view our bodies, and hopefully Ashley's message will serve as a spark of confidence for anyone struggling with their body image.
