On the power of positive vibes:
Television host and model Fiona Falkiner has come a long way. Since appearing on The Biggest Loser in 2006, she's gone through a huge transformation not just physically, by psychologically. Though she lost close to 30 kgs on the show then, insecurities still continued to plague her everyday. "I came from a place where I had really low self-esteem and was really negative towards myself — I didn't love myself, didn't value myself," she tells POPSUGAR Australia. "I got to a point where I was like, something's got to change. I took a lot of pressure of myself to be skinny and decided to focus on the things that made me happy."
Now more than ten years on, Fiona is going into her third year of hosting the show. And just like the contestants hoping to come out being fitter, healthier versions of their previous selves through some pretty big life overhauls, she credits two things as being the greatest helpers in getting her to where she is today: meditation and positive affirmations. "The negativity I felt towards myself in my life was just a habit I'd formed," she says. "I believe any habit can be broken, you just have to stick with it and change your thought processes."
