Today is National Vitamin D Awareness Day and as we near the end of Winter, there couldn't be a better time to celebrate the sun. That's right celebrate. While we can't stress enough how important it is to protect yourself, daily, from UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays, that doesn't mean you should shun the sun altogether. A recent study by Ostelin found vitamin D deficiency more than doubles in Winter, with 54 percent of Australians staying indoors all day during the cooler months.
