According to new Bayer Health Yourself research, 55% of Australians have admitted that they've felt too nervous in the past to ask a doctor about a specific health concern during a GP visit. Worryingly, 80% of Australians have also stated that they've searched their symptoms on Google instead of heading to an appointment for professional advice. This means that many of us are reluctant to open up about our symptoms to medical professionals and are subsequently heading to unreliable sources like the internet.
