This Lorna Jane Clarkson approved (and created) green smoothie is guaranteed to fuel your body with the all the greens it needs for a productive, healthy day. Starring kale, apple, mint and green grapes for a sweet taste you'll be making this blend every morning.
Smoothies are best served chilled and will keep in a sealed glass jar for up to two days.
Shake or stir before serving.
- 2 x medium kale leaves
- 1 x medium green-skinned apple
- 1 cup x seedless green grapes
- 8 x fresh mint leaves
- ½ cup x water or macadamia milk
Wash and trim 2 medium kale leaves (80g), discarding stalks. Chop leaves coarsely.
Blend kale with 1 peeled, cored and coarsely chopped medium green-skinned apple (150g), 1 cup (175g) seedless green grapes, 8 fresh mint leaves and ½ cup (125ml) water or macadamia milk until smooth.
Serve in glass.
