It's OK to Be Bigger Than Your Boyfriend | Instagram

This Blogger Reminds Us It's OK to Be Bigger Than Your Boyfriend

If you've ever dated someone who was smaller than you and you felt self-conscious about it, you'll totally relate to this recent Instagram post by model and blogger Essie. She says, "My whole life I have dated men who are thinner than me and when I was younger that used to get to me. I thought that it made me less of a girl to have bigger thighs than my boyfriend."

We agree when she says, "There is nothing inherently 'manly' about being strong." Like they say, "strong is the new sexy," and a woman with muscles is not only a sign of physical strength, but emotional strength as well. Ellie goes on to say, "How we feel about ourselves should also not be based on who we are dating or bullshit ideals about how men and women are supposed to look." So be proud of whatcha got!
