As Kate will soon experience, motherhood can be one of the most rewarding experiences, but it can also be a very exhausting one. With feeding schedules and routines, there's no doubt the beautiful new bub in her life will be keeping her busy.
When a baby starts to show signs they're ready to experiment with solids (four to six months), new mums can start to cook foods that they can both enjoy — you'd be surprised at how many meals taste delicious pureed!
"Meals that taste great on a plate and even better in a blender include: fish and mash potato pie, vegetable ratatouille and quinoa, chicken with sweet potato, roasted root vegetables, steamed fish and Asian vegetables, and fruit and yoghurt," says The Nutritionists', Rosie Mansfield.
