"At 10 a.m. I love to have a green juice of celery, kale, ginger, spinach, cucumber and lemon. And also have cut-up veggies (carrot, cucumber, celery) smeared with nut butter or hummus. Or, a handful of raw walnuts plus a handful of blueberries and sprinkle cinnamon on them! I also have a snack around 4 p.m. It's important for me to snack at this time to keep my blood sugars stable until dinner and keep cravings and overeating at bay. I love to have a cup of herbal tea with a quarter of a cup of raw nuts and cut up carrots. Other options include a protein shake with almond butter, almond milk, cinnamon and stevia or two brown rice cakes with tahini and cinnamon."
