Ah, stretching. The activity we all know we should do more of, but don't. When I was younger, stretching was something I did at least three times a week, if not daily. Perhaps it was a by-product of my earlier years as a dancer, but I knew that working on my flexibility was one of the most important things I could do to ensure I was fighting fit.

Over the years, my sit-in-the-splits-while-watching-TV habit vanished. For no reason other than I couldn't be bothered, or I'd "do it tomorrow." Last week, I was reminded why loosening those limbs is important, when I slipped into Reebok studio gear and attended a stretch class. Here's what went down.
