Kelsey Wells Wants You to Shift Your Mindset & Move Your Body as Gratitude Practice, Not as Punishment
Kelsey Wells is by far one of our favourite people to follow on Instagram, not only does she share workouts that make us strong and recipes that make us hungry, but she's also all about empowering women.
To celebrate international gratitude day, Kelsey took to Instagram to share her "three simple things you can do today and every day to help you cultivate gratitude and gain a positive perspective in your life which directly impacts your life for the better."
#1. Gratitude Journaling
"Bullet style three things you're grateful for every single morning when you wake up. Also if you want when you go to bed."
#2. Thank You Notes
"Take a moment a send a thank you handwritten or even just a text to someone for something today. Find the time, carve out five minutes and focus on something you're grateful for and let someone know, thank them."
#3. Move Your Body
"Last but certainly not least, move your body. Exercise! Not as a chore. Not because you ate too much (or you think you did). Not as a punishment, but please, please as a gratitude practice for all that your body does for you. If you are in good enough health to move your body and exercise, that is an immense blessing. Your body is the biggest blessing. when you can train your mind to think about exercise as a gift to yourself and as a gratitude practice for your body and the way that it sustains you every single day and night your whole life it's a game-changer."
Kelsey finished off her video by explaining why learning how to deploy gratitude and positivity in your life has been the most rewarding work and the key to her mental, emotional, and physical health.
