"Make sure that you MOVE. You may be tempted to laze around the house in the cold Winter months, but now is a good time to get all of the active tasks done around the house to keep you moving. Get up and do some chores, bring that Spring clean a few months forward, do all of the tasks that you have been putting off.
"Also, if you find that you have been inactive over Winter, have some way of monitoring your progress so that you don't get a surprise come summertime. If you are not a 'scales' person, and let's be honest, it's not always the best tool to use, try a measuring tape or a pair of jeans to monitor your weight. Don't stress over a kilo or two, but it is good to keep an eye on it so you don't blow out and have a tonne of work to do come Summer."
