Functional Handstand and Interval Training
Lauren Hannaford, gymnast and personal trainer.
"In 2016 you are going to see more body weight interval style training because of its simplicity and accessibility. There are no restrictions on this style of training and it can be done anywhere, anytime.
"Also . . . handstands! People like myself have been standing on our hands for years and all of a sudden at the back end of 2015 everybody has realised how fun it is and how much of and all-over body workout it can be. We will be seeing more of it in the form of FHIT (functional handstand and interval training). Created to help people with their all-over body-weight resistance and cardio health, it also helps people master a technical handstand."
