My Body Was Much More Relaxed and There Was No Soreness
"I've used meditation apps before and really like them, the problem is I don’t make time for it, so never end up doing it. What I loved about the session was that it was led meditation, which seems to be the best match for me because it gives me a voice and story to focus on, rather than focusing on nothing. I’ve been to some yoga classes that ask you to empty your mind during Savasana and I’m really bad at it. I also loved the chairs, I sat at the front and felt hidden from everyone else, which made me feel more comfortable.
We went straight from work so my mind was full of my work to-do list, when my mind drifted during the meditation that’s where it drifted to, but I felt much more positive about it rather than panicked. Before my body felt stiff and uncomfortable from a day in heels at my desk. Afterwards my body was much more relaxed and there was no soreness. I felt great going into my Pilates class afterwards.
I would most definitely go again, it was a really nice thing to do, and I’m inspired to get back into my app."
