Your First Session
Because it’s so different to other forms of exercise, the Hypoxi team wants to make sure each client is educated on the process. They run you through the packages and prices as well as provide you with all the nutritional advice you need for success. They also note down your measurements — if you opt for the 12-session pack, they take measurements again after two weeks, and again after your final session. Hello, results!
The Martin Place facility is open Monday to Saturday with the earliest appointment at 7 a.m. The studio closes at 8 p.m. so an after-work session is totally possible. You can’t just drop in, all appointments must be booked in advance, but this can be done in studio or over the phone.
Be strategic when it comes to scheduling your appointments because you need to plan your meals, limit your carb intake and avoid overdoing it with exercise before and after your sessions — but don’t stress, this is all explained before your first go. The Hypoxi team really takes the time to detail the entire process to you, so don’t be afraid to ask questions, that’s what they’re there for. And be sure to wear the appropriate gear — that means no compression wear, or shorts (definitely no shorts!) — for best results.
