When Will Gyms ReOpen in Australia COVID-19

Good News, Melbourne Folks! We Now Know When Gyms Will Reopen and It's Really Soon

It's official! Victorians will finally be able to break a sweat in gyms again from Nov. 9. Gyms and fitness studios will the be allowed a maximum of 20 people, provided there are no more than 10 people per space and no more than one person per 8 square metres. Gym goers will have to wear a mask at all times and follow social distancing and hygiene rules.

As these restrictions ease to give the public some sense of normalcy, there will be requirements in place to help assist with contact tracing should there be another outbreak. All fitness facilities will be obliged to sign in guests and enforce the four-square-metre rule, as well as maintaining strict hygiene measures and wearing face masks.

Gyms have already reopened with restrictions in NSW, Queensland, the ACT, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
