Naomi Osaka Serves Up Her Iconic Style in Fortnite

Naomi Osaka serves up major style on the court, and now she’s bringing her iconic looks to Fortnite. Two brand new outfits and accessories inspired by the tennis champion, activist, fashion designer, entrepreneur and keen gamer are being added to the game, along with the Naomi Osaka Cup challenge.

She’s the latest member of the Fortnite Icon Series, joining Ariana Grande, LeBron James and Loserfruit as one of the outfits in-game characters can wear in Battle Royale matches. Osaka designed her outfits with her sister Mari and drew inspiration from their Japanese and Haitian heritage.

To celebrate the outfits, Osaka will be streaming Fortnite on Twitch on Wednesday, March 2 at 11am. Expect a casual stream with Fortnite streamer berleezy on his channel where you can get an early sneak peak at the Naomi Outfits in action.

Naomi Osaka Skins and Cosmetics in Fortnite

There are two Naomi Osaka skins to choose from, reflecting her individuality on and off the court. The first — the Naomi Osaka Outfit — is a gorgeous pink and turquoise court-inspired look. The set includes the Royale Racket pickaxe which creates a royal pink trail when you swing it and can also be worn as Back Bling. She also gets the Queen’s Cloudcarriage glider to enter the match with, which looks like a glowing cloud with colourful whisps trailing behind it.

The second — the Dark Priestess Naomi Outfit — is green and red with face paint and colourful hair like we’ve come to expect from Osaka. It comes with the Portalforger Paddle pickaxe which leaves a green trail from unknown spirit realms in its wake. It also doubles as Back Bling when you’re haunting opponents. You also get the Cursed Hazeboard glider, which is a green, white and blue version of her Cloudcarriage glider.

Both Naomi Osaka outfits come with an alt style — the Court Queen and Neon Princess respectively — and you can also get the Serve Stance emote.

How to Play the Naomi Osaka Cup in Fortnite

Unlocking Naomi Osaka skins in Fortnite is easy. All you have to do is play in the Naomi Osaka Cup challenge, which takes place in-game on Wednesday, March 2. This solo-queue tournament carries a chance to unlock the skins and accessories for free before they hit the item shop.

If you miss the challenge, you can buy the Naomi Osaka skins from the item shop with V-Bucks. The skins will be available for purchase on Friday, March 4 at 11am.
