Xbox Game Pass is closing out the year with a bang, adding the Halo Infinite single-player campaign on release day. Other day-one releases are joining the service this month, alongside a decent lineup of titles that are always good to have in your games library. Everything, including the games already on Game Pass, is free to play for subscribers — if you haven’t already, you can sign up to Game Pass for a modest monthly fee. The new games will be added throughout the month, so we’ve broken down the Game Pass December release schedule below to make it easy to play your top picks as soon as they become available.

December 2

Anvil (console and PC)

Archvale (Cloud, console and PC)

Final Fantasy XIII-2 (console and PC)

Lawn Mowing Simulator (Cloud, console and PC)

Rubber Bandits (Cloud, console and PC)

Stardew Valley (Cloud, console and PC)

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector (Cloud, console and PC)

December 7

Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator (Cloud, console and PC)

December 9

Halo Infinite (Cloud, console and PC)

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 (Cloud, console and PC)

December 14

Aliens: Fireteam Elite (Cloud, console and PC)

Among Us (Cloud, console and PC)

A few new DLCs and updates are also coming to Game Pass, like Sea of Thieves season five on December 2 and the Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Update: Part II, which is available now. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members also get new in-game perks, like the Pass Tense bundle in Halo Infinite multiplayer, the Dauntless New Year’s bundle, a holiday bundle in World of Warships and a new weapon charm in Apex Legends.

A handful of games are also leaving Game Pass this month, including The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, Guacamelee! 2 and Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. These games will be removed on December 15, giving you a few days still to finish them if you’re in the middle of a playthrough.

Of course, Halo Infinite is the main attraction for Game Pass in December. Master Chief will confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced, and he has a new grappling hook to help you navigate the series’ first ever open world map.
