In a first, it was kid's bedroom week on The Block and to help them out the teams got visits from their kids (so cute!). There were some big ideas, too — a mezzanine-level study, a rock-climbing wall — but (somewhat controversially), Ronnie and Georgia's beautiful but fairly straight-looking bedroom took home the win.
The scores this week were quite varied, unlike the previous weeks where there had been some half-point wins. Scotty decided to up the competition (and controversy) by adding a new rule: The winners of each week are give the opportunity to steal a point from another team, for the following week. The catch? They have to pick it immediately after their win, essentially a week in advance. Following their second-week-in-row win, Georgia and Ronnie took the point off Jason and Sarah, who's kids bedroom came in second.
Ronnie and Georgia also pulled off the first perfect score of the competition. Neale gave their room a 10. We also saw the first real heartbreak and hurt of the season with Hannah and Clint who were devastated by the judges comments.
