My Moroccan Pouf Looks Like an Expensive Flea Market Find, but It's Only $170 on Amazon!
One of the ways I've adapted my small city apartment to suit my needs is by converting the previously unused "dining room" into a book-filled reading nook and using my living room coffee table to eat a majority of my meals insntead. I'm all about that floor seating life, which I also find helpful for having friends over for game night or book club (I mean, who doesn't want to sit near the charcuterie board?). When my well-worn knitted pouf finally reached the retirement stage (aka it resembled a flattened pancake), I had my sights set on an embroidered Moroccan leather pouf in metallic gold. However, this home decor hunt turned out to be trickier than I thought, at least when it came to high-quality ottomans that didn't cost a fortune.
After searching flea markets and my standard home decor retailers only to find options way out of my price range, I took to Amazon to see if I could find my perfect pouf. I soon realised that not all ottomans are created equal, and without seeing it in person, I was worried I'd accidentally end up with one made for a dollhouse (you've see the memes) or at the very least a bulky product I wasn't 100 percent happy with that I'd have to return.
With a decent number of reviews and a four-and-a-half-star rating, I felt pretty confident in purchasing this Moroccan Flair Genuine Handmade Metallic Leather Pouf in Gold ($170). I took the plunge, and I'm so glad I did, because it definitely exceeded my expectations. It arrived quickly (in true Amazon Prime fashion) and the quality is impressively top-notch considering it's less than half the price of some of the Moroccan poufs I was looking at. Even after using it for over a year for coffee table dining, as extra house party seating, and as a footstool, it has stayed firm and still looks brand new. It also comes in 11 additional colours, so there's an option for any style room. Shop them all ahead!
