Ronnie and Georgia: Fourth Place
Ronnie and Georgia went though a lot to get their pool, nicknamed 10-Tonne Tessie, into their yard. They also forked out almost $26,000 to their fellow contestants in access fees, and unfortunately, it didn't really pay off.
The judges thought the pool and the little oasis created around it was stunning, and a clear selling point for buyers, but the rest of the yard fell short. There was no dining space, and Shaynna worried that it wasn't child friendly. Neale mused that it felt more boutique hotel than family home, and all three agreed that while it was visually amazing, it wasn't functional. A point Shaynna thought was perfectly exemplified by the pile of fire wood that was never going to be needed in their fireplace, which was gas. Shaynna also thought the fireplace wall shortened the yard and advised pulling it down.
