Alexander Skarsgård Confirms He Welcomed His First Child With Girlfriend Tuva Novotny

Alexander Skarsgård is a dad! While attending the season four premiere of “Succession” in New York City on Monday, the 46-year-old actor confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that he welcomed his first child with girlfriend Tuva Novotny, 43. “Thank you very much,” Skarsgård told ET’s Rachel Smith after she congratulated him on his baby. “I got this on the red carpet,” the actor told the host, showing off a stuffed animal he was gifted on the red carpet. Reps for Skarsgård did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment and reps for Novotny could not be reached.

Given how private both Skarsgård and Novotny are about their relationship, not much else is known about their romance, though Novotny previously showed off her baby bump at the Swedish Elle Awards in April 2022. Baby Skarsgård joins Novotny’s 16-year-old daughter Ella, whom she shares with ex Nicolai Bjerrum Lersbryggen.

Skarsgård has been linked to Amanda Seyfried and Alexa Chung over the years. When asked what he looks for in a partner, the actor told People in 2009, “A sense of humor is number one for sure. Being funny and smart is very important.”

But Skarsgård wasn’t the only one with exciting baby news at the “Succession” premiere. Sarah Snook, 35, revealed she’s expecting her first child with husband Dave Lawson when she debuted her growing belly on the red carpet, à la Blake Lively. “It’s exciting!” Snook told ET. “I feel great,” she continued, adding that she’s currenltly “at 32 weeks,” so she has “like two months” until her baby is born.
