Born in 1966, Bottega Veneta — a luxury Italian fashion house — has been serving its signature “intrecciato” leather-weaving for decades. Despite being an instant hit, with their first release of their woven shoes and bags, the brand has had a recent wave of popularity.

And while I’d like to think I’m immune to social media’s charm, I can’t deny that I want a Bottega bag of my own. But, being a creative and not a celebrity (woe is me!), I’m looking at getting myself a convincing dupe while I save up the funds to invest in the real deal.
Below are five Bottega Veneta dupe bags that I’ve found on my search and can confirm, are pretty damn close to the real thing. A temporary fix, if you will.

This BV Mini Jodie Inspired Handbag ($157.96) is a dupe of the Mini Jodie bag. Etsy is a really good place to look for quality dupes, as there are heaps of private sellers that specialise in designer dupes. This particular one comes 12 colours including in lilac, grass green, blue, black and cream.

This KingTo Woven Crossbody Handbag Purse ($60.99) is a dupe of Bottega Veneta’s Padded Casette range, which another super popular style right now. This Amazon seller has it available in pink, blue, black and white and is made out of non-pollution waterproof synthetic PU leather.
HIGHYU’s Woven Dumpling Pouch ($38.99) embodies the style of the Bottega Veneta Mini Jodie purse. It’s made of vegan leather all around with a firm structured handle.
