Time to Redecorate! HomeGoods Is Finally Rolling Out a Shoppable Online Store in 2021

As someone who’s planned whole weekends around shopping for a new throw blanket or finding just the right chair to take up that weird empty spot in the living room, I can’t wait to virtually browse through HomeGoods’ new shoppable online store. As of 2021, the furnishing chain is rolling out an online store so we can all have the experience of choosing between the store’s vast array of throw pillows from the comfort of our couches.

“We are pleased to share that we plan to rollout e-commerce on HomeGoods.com later next year,” the chain’s CEO and president said in a statement from the TJX companies. “We look forward to bringing our treasure hunt experience online and hope our customers will enjoy this new way to ‘go finding,'” a HomeGoods representative told POPSUGAR. While there is technically a HomeGoods.com, the site mainly offers updates about the store’s latest deals and doesn’t allow users to shop the products they might find in person. Now that more and more shoppers are social distancing, per the CDC’s recommendations, and turning to online retailers and delivery methods for their shopping needs, the announcement couldn’t have come at a better time.

Like going to Michael’s for crafting supplies or getting lost in the dollar section of a Target, for me, a trip to HomeGoods is always a treasure hunt to find the cutest and most unique knickknacks to line my shelves with. So you can bet I’ll be adding an entire living-room set – accessories and all – to my cart as soon as the website becomes shoppable in 2021.
