Caterer? Check. DJ? Check. Wedding photographer? No need. Most soon-to-be brides hire a professional to capture their special day, but for Liisa Luts, that was totally unnecessary. As a photographer herself, Liisa decided to take her wedding day into her own hands (literally) and document her day, from waking to sleeping, from her perspective.
"I just felt that I want something different, not those posed beauty shots and not that post-processed glamorous photo gallery," she told PetaPixel. "With all respect to the wedding photographers, I just wanted something more 'us' and therefore more authentic."
Liisa and her husband are also creative partners of their own company based in Tallinn, Estonia. Naturally, the small business specialises in graphic design, video, and photography.
The bride's shots are definitely not your traditional wedding photos; they're better. They're not posed or awkward in the least bit — they're raw, intimate, and undeniably beautiful. See how the newlyweds' entire day panned out through her lens — she might even inspire you to do the same.
