Australian Journalists Rally Around Natasha Exelby With #PutYourBloopersOut
Journalists all over the country are showing their support for Natasha Exelby with #PutYourBloopersOut, a hashtag where they're openly sharing their own jounalistic gaffes, be it on-air or in print.
Over the weekend, the ABC24 news presenter was caught daydreaming as the camera threw back to the studio after a pre-recorded segment. Startled, she then gasped and jumped, before going on to introduce the next package.

Following the on-air blunder, it was reported that the network had banned Natasha from any future on-air roles. This was met with enormous backlash as politicians such as Bill Shorten and well-known journalists criticised the network's extreme decision over an innocent blunder that is more often than not, received with humour and embarrassment. A petition has also been started to get her reinstated on-air.
