If becoming a mermaid is one of your child's main aspirations in life, they may have just gotten one step closer to achieving their dreams, thanks to Disney. Starting in mid-March, bookings for "Mermaid School," an hour-long swim class at the pools of select Walt Disney World resort hotels, will make your kids feel like Disney's resident mermaid, Ariel.

For $50, guests ages 4 and up can participate in the 8 a.m. class in which they'll learn to swim just like a mermaid through a number of fun activities. The experience is hosted by The Mermaid Academy, an Orlando company that provides class instructors and mermaid tails on loan (though you can buy a fin to keep!).

Here's where you can find the classes bright and early, before the pools open to guests:

  • Art of Animation Resort: Sunday and Thursday
  • Caribbean Beach Resort: Wednesday and Friday
  • Beach Club Resort: Tuesday and Saturday
  • Yacht Club Resort: Tuesday and Saturday

Sounds like a splashing good time!
