These Babies in the NICU Got All Dressed Up For Halloween – and Aw, That Little Peanut!

Having a child in the NICU can understandably be emotionally draining. In an effort to lift families’ moods, the nurses at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Florida dressed their tiny patients up in sweet Halloween costumes. After brainstorming some ideas together, staff members got to work making each ensemble, and it’s safe to say their hard work paid off.

“We work to make the environment as comfortable as possible for our babies and families,” a spokesperson for Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare told POPSUGAR. “Having a baby in the NICU can be very stressful for new moms and families, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bringing the Halloween fun to these little ones and their parents is just one of the many ways our team works to normalize the NICU environment and keep families’ spirits high. Our crafty NICU night team created the costumes and our day team helped bring their visions to life.”
