Buying pre-owned goods may seem like risky-business at times, but it's something that should be applauded. After all, buying the perfect product at a discounted price can be a definite win-win, particularly for us hustlers of the world who are looking for high quality at a lower price.
From phones and gaming to cars and plants, here are some things you should definitely consider buying pre-owned, particularly if you're interested in saving a dollar or two.

This is an obvious one, but it's worth reiterating how important it is to buy pre-owned, recycled clothing where possible, at organisations like Vinnies and Salvos. It prevents waste, helps avoid the support of unethical mass production and, in many instances, also coincides with charity support.
Now some of you may find this an interesting one to start off with, but plants should definitely be purchased pre-owned. I don't know if you've been to a hardware or flower shop recently, but house plants can actually be very over-priced. If you go online, though, there are many marketplaces featuring an abundance of nice owners looking to get rid of their flora for a cheap price. We also deserve as much greenery in our rooms as possible. Our friends will be green with envy.
All console games should be yours for the taking, as long as you've done prior research, taken price points into consideration and have your wits about you. Besides, it's always fun when someone else does all the hard work and unlocks the higher levels for you.

As long as you do the research and make sure it's in good nick prior to purchase, there shouldn't be any issue.
