How to Experience Bali Like Local Celeb Lindy Klim
Bali is a magical place full of smiling locals, the hustle and bustle of street sellers, sun-drenched beach-side villas, and some of the best views you'll ever see. I'm a new Bali convert, having travelled to Asia, Europe and South America before, there was something that didn't make me want to rush over to our tropical island friend. But after spending a whole week immersed in Indonesian beauty (spotted everyday on the swinging bed next to the Zen Pool at Club Med, rosé in hand!), it emerged from my uncouth reputation expectations, to flower into one of the most relaxing and recharging holidays of my life.
But to get to know Bali properly, you need to get away from the Kuta-cluster and into the far richer surrounds. Far from being an expert myself, I chatted to local beauty Lindy Klim — model, Milk & Co founder and Balinese Princess — about her home country, and got the list of things you should definitely do next time you're in Bali. Cocktails, sunsets and incredible surf included.
